Canon AV-1 light meter problem

I have a Canon AV-1, the light meter has died. Where can I get a replacement, Canon does not have a replacement part, camera too old. And is it difficult to replace. Thanks.

You might consider eBay. A quick look showed this AV-1 complete with flash and extra lens for twenty bucks. It was the first item on the list when I searched for Canon AV-1, so I'm certain there are plenty of others like it if you miss this particular auction.
