The "Program" function on my AE-1 Program is on the fritz. I took it in to the local repair shop, and he told me the problem is with a defective switch inside the body that the lens makes contact with when you put the lens on the "A" setting. He said he can't get a replacement switch anymore. Does anyone know a place that might have some of these switches stashed away? My camera works great on manual, but I really would like the program capability fixed too. Thanks!

You might try KEH, one of the advertisers on this site (KEH.com). This isn't a recommendation, since I've never used their repair service, but I've had excellent purchase and sale transactions with them. Located in Atlanta, GA.

Try a Cal's Cameras or if you're in Newport beach go to "The Used Camera Store" they'd probably have it. Never done repairs at either, and Cal's is usally pretty expensive, but The Used Camera Store is usually on the ball, and they actually know what they're doing there.
