when shooting a party in a house(chandelier bulbs) with the flash which setting would u use on the camera?
also, when shooting under flourescent lights but using a flash which setting on the camera would you use.
i guess what i want to know is if you are using flash-does that mean u don't have to set the camera for the type of lighting in the house or the type of lighting still "rules"? thanks

Hi,
It all depends on whether your camera flash can overpower the flourescent or incandescent lighting. This is a case where a color meter such as the late lamented Minolta color (covers both flash and incident available light) meter would be used--also one by Gossen--be prepared to shell out some major $. (around $8-900 last I heard)
