I have a Canon 20D and I purchased the Kenko pro 1.4 tel extender. I tried it with my Canon 28/135 IS and my 70/300
DO IS lens and it didn't work with either one. Any help would be appreciated.
Gerry
Gerry: The 20D is an ultra high tech camera. There have been some compatibility issues with older Sigma lenses too. (Sigma can update those lenses with a new chip.)
Any aftermarket teleconverter may not be fully compatible with the latest Canon digital SLR cameras.
But there may be a different problem. The 28-135mm IS zoom was not designed for use with teleconverters. I'm not sure if the DO zoom was either. Try to find someone who owns a Canon lens that IS designed to accept teleconverters. Then try the Kenko accessory with that lens.
Cheers!
What do you mean when you say ".....it didn't work....."? Do you mean it wouldn't AF? Do you mean you lost IS capability?
Bob, I really like your signature. Great idea!
