It's about time! Thats what disgust me about the magazines that let these creeps advertise. I realize advertising dollars are needed but to me it hurts your readers.

Two things about that article bother me. The person purchasing the camera had already researched the price and knew he was paying $50 less than it legitimately sold for. And his reaction in the last paragraph that it was worth paying more meaning that the legitimate price was more than he originally wanted to pay. Reads like he let them take advantage of him.
Now on the other hand, magazines like Shutterbug, Outdoor Photographer and Digital PhotoPro (and probably lots more) need to stop accepting advertising from Broadway Photo, especially since they were named by the attorney general as committing fraud.
Larry, I agree. I don't think it's George Schaub or the Shutterbug editorial staff that need to be convinced, but the publisher.
There were a couple other elements of the story that caught my eye: What are the chances that the two outfits that are closing down will re-emerge under different names? And, the two companies relocating out of state? Wanna bet they're moving to New Jersey, which already has some scumbag outfits operating with apparent impunity?
Life goes on......
