Just about anything is TECHNOLOGICALY possible; it is the MARKET POTENTIAL that brings products to fruition. Besides, what would be the advantage to shoot both film and digital in the same format?

Are you suggesting that now that film sales are at the lowest point in the history of photography, they should introduce another film format that no one would purchase?

To my knowledge, half frame 35 still u ses standard 35 mm cassettes. If anything it might cause some folks who only have lenses for smaller than 35 formats to shoot some film once in a while. Like I said I want one.

Lets consider the current hassle of keeping both full frame 35mm format lenses and some DC (smaller format)only lenses in ones bag. Unless you have the Canon full frame than no problem. You ever shoot half frame? Its a lot of fun and with modern scanners 8x10 is reachable. Any way I did not intend to start an arguement, merely an idea that I think might stimulate some otherwise non film users to burn a few rolls once in a while. I still love my old canon and pen-f camera's but they, unfortunately will not talk to or mount any of my nikon lenses.
