The Blue Swallow Motel on old historic Route 66 in Tucumcari, New Mexico is still open for business. It has been restored to it's original condition as it was in the 1950s. The office and neon signs display a rainbow of colors that is an eye-catcher as you drive by at night. You need to call ahead if you want to experience a flash back from the past and spend a night of two there because it's proven to be a hit.
