My n60 wigged out three weeks ago with the auto focus (the night before I was to shoot my first wedding! It was a back up for B&W). The focus would just bounce from one extreem to the other and manual focus wouldn't give me the 'in focus' dot at the bottom of the viewer. I removed the lens and noticed a tiny (maybe 4x6mm) mirror sitting inside. It came from the back side of the main mirror. I lifted the mirror and noticed a second flap attached to the back and I could tell it used to hold the little mirror. I carefuly glued it back into place and I got some nice B&W shots the next day. I am not a qualified camera technician by any means but I will take lucky over smart in a pinch!
