Attaching a battery grip to Rebel XTi

This may sound silly, but how do I remove the battery compartment cover on the Rebel XTi in order to attach a battery grip?

I had the same problem too, but figured it out.
Open the door, and on the hinge of the door you will see a tiny silver screw at the top. Pull down on the screw and pull the door off tilting the top out first. the top pin is spring loaded. hop this helps
