I heard for Konica Minolta withdrawing from consumer photo market, however, I did not expect that their film scanners will be gone so soon. It seems that most online stores are already out of Elite II. Any ideas if KM film scanners will resurface, maybe under Sony brand?
Are KM film scanners to show up under Sony label?

I would rather doubt that Sony included the scanners with what they bought from Konica-Minolta. If they do re-surface it will probably be in the hands of one of the Taiwan manufacturers like BenQ. But that is just an assumption on the basis that the K-M Elite 5400 II scanners were probably manufactured by a contract factory rather than by Minolta directly.
You can be sure if any real news more than a rumor develops, I'll post the information in the forum.
