I purchased CS3 from an Amazon vender on June 2nd.2007. It was said to be in stock and promised to be sent out by June 6th. I never ever heard a thing from the seller that it was sent out and they would not return my E-Mails at all. I contacted Amazon and was told to wait until the 26th of June to see if I would ever recieve the item.Of course they kept my money tied up so I could not purchase a Copy of CS3 someplace else. After the 26th with no response from the seller I contacted Amazon again for a refund. I did not get my refund until around July 7th. I think that Amazon should have refunded everyone's money from their seller "RYANMIL22" as soon as they knew he was a thief. He had over 40 bad feedbacks starting from June 13th. Amazon closed his Amazon store and cut him off around the 10th of June so they knew they had a problem and still made their customers jump through hoops to get their money refunded.I personaly will not trust Amazon with my money ever again. They just do not care enough about their customers to refund promptly when they know of a problem with one of their sellers. Ryanmil22 had a good feedback when I made my purchse on the 2nd.or I would not have made the purchase. When I did not hear anything by the 6th from him I knew there was a problem and by then so did Amazon because of all the bad feedbacks started coming in. Amazon never again for me!!!!!
Sounds like a really bad experience with that seller, but I wonder if a month (or less, actually) to receive your refund from Amazon is unreasonable, under the circumstances. I'm sure it took some time to investigate the problem thoroughly.
Just out of curiosity, why did you elect to purchase CS3 from that seller rather than directly from Adobe?
At the time I ordered CS3 upgrade Adobe was out of stock. Amazon said it was in stock and promised to send it out by June 6th. They lied to me and over 49 other people. They knew of the problem June 10th when I called them on the telephone. Amazon just did not care to do the proper thing and refund customers money as soon as they knew for certain they had A problem with ryanmil22. By the time I jumped through all of Amazon's hoops and got my refund Best Buy had the item in stock. I ordered it from Adobe using the NAPP discount code and recieved it in four days.
