Advise before I buy Canon T2 or K2? For a beginner

Please help me choose, money is tight, I want a good starter kit and have choosen either Canob K2 or T2. Any suggestions? Please explain. Thanks

I'm a beginner as well... and I just bought a Canon K2. After alot of research the only difference I noticed between models was the flash type. I didn't really think the extra $100 was worth it... especially since an external flash could do the same thing better for about $20-60, and the built in was fine for what it does. I say go for the K2, and spend the extra $100 on a good lens or some filters!

Bought the K2 today and like it alot, now I need some lens, and next a nikon d50. Thanks for the help.
