Subject: Adorama Camera
I recently tried to use Adorama's Trade In service. I sent in 2 cameras for evaluation. I didn't like there offer so they sent my cameras back to me. When they were returned to me one of them was damaged beyond repair (this was a $500 camera!). After several ignored calls and ignored emails, I finally got the person in charge of the trade-in department on the phone. He told me that they were not responsible for the damage, and that there was nothing I could do about it in the first place. He said that it wasn't his fault if his staff messed up my camera. Then he tried to say it was damaged in shipping. I have filed a report with the BBB on this. They were rude and nasty to me from the second that I refused there offer. I tell you this : STAY AWAY from Adorama. I am not the only person who has had this problem. I've met 5 others online with the same complaint...
