Photoshop CS2 (aka v9.0) for Windows and Mac has been updated to v9.0.1. The free update is comprised mostly of bug fixes and minor tweaks; the download page for each platform, linked to below, lists the changes. Note that the Mac updater is for English copies of the application only, whereas the Windows updater covers all languages.

PS sometimes if you have registered an Adobe application online you will get an auto upgrade dialogue if you launch the application when online. This is an auto service also of Apple for Operating System upgrades, and there is a button in the Apple main menu titled "software updates..." to trigger upgrading directly. Why this easy access of software upgrades is not included also in other applications including the current Adobe products is a real mystery to me.
