Is it a sin to not like Adobe Photoshop (Bridge) for organizing your pictures? I find the Library in Microsoft's Digital Image Suite to be much more intuitive and flexible. Is it a sin to correct some of the problems with your pictures in Digital Image Suite's photo editor? I also find that eaasier to use. I guess what I am asking is: Do professional photographers have to use Photoshop?
Yes, it's a sin. Say three "Hail Ansels" and go and sin no more.
The important thing is to find what works best for you, and use it. I promise not to snitch to Adobe.....
It also depends for a professional on who your clients are. If your doing photography that will be printed or used in advertising, marketing or publishing, as well as most professional service bureaus and professional photo labs, then it is a big disadvantage to not use an Apple Mac and Adobe Photoshop because the people that have to work with your output are mostly using Macs and Adobe.
If your clients are the general public and you are selling photo services at the retail level, it can be whatever works for you.
