I think that would be a last resort if you have a clogged cartridge that's reasonably full and not responding to several cleaning cycles. I don't believe there's anything to be gained in terms of image quality by doing it routinely. Or, in other words: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I am not sure what that would do for you. Better to do an Auto Nozzle check often. If you let it stand for a long time without printing then you probably have to run a clean cycle as well. But manually tilting the carts does not sound like it would be useful or helpful.
