Shoes come in all colors, styles, and configurations. Some are ideal for the beach, others are only for formal wear, and still others shelter feet when it rains. Think of photo bags in the same way, only more so. You don’t have to select a photo bag to match your outfit, but you do need different carrying solutions depending on your activity.

Technically speaking, the Nikon D750 is the follow-up to the Nikon D700, which was released six years ago. That’s a lifetime between digital camera models, and to say that the D750 is not nearly as groundbreaking as its predecessor from way back in 2008 is not a put-down of this new full-framer from Nikon. The National Wildlife Federation recently announced the winners of their 44th annual National Wildlife photo contest. Operated by National Wildlife Federation's award-winning magazine National Wildlife, the contest celebrates the beauty of nature while raising funds to help the organization protect wildlife and wild places.

Selected from more than 29,000 entries, this year’s winners include a grand prize recipient who spent years perfecting a photographic technique that resulted in a one-of-a-kind image of grey herons and another winner who was able to grab his camera just in time to capture a rare image of praying mantis nymphs hatching on his backyard deck.
